Xero
Modulated Echo

Xero is a new face in the 2399 based delay rotation. Based on the Pelotta 2 by Dylan159, it is capable of both murky, analog sounding delays and bright, hi-fi repeats, all with complete control over the modulation rate and depth. Your basic Delay (time), Feedback (repeats) and Level (mix) operate exactly as you'd expect. Delay time goes from instant rockabilly slapback to soaring leads to huge space. Feedback can be set to infinite runaway oscillation. Lastly, the Level control will get you as much as a 50-50 split between clean and effected signal. Here's where the fun starts. Modulation. Both Depth and Rate range from subtle movement to wobbly all the way to seasick and strange. You can cop bucket brigade style tones with ease. Lastly is the addition of the tone control. Most 2399 based delays are deep, murky, moody, and far away. Xero gives you the option to decide exactly how earthy and distant, or clear and present you want your repeats. Bridging the gap between analog emulated delay and digital, Xero can be your one stop shop for echoes.
